This is it tonight my friends. Last Facebook Livestream for the foreseeable future.
Bittersweet. May 2020 has been a whopper, we are all going through a very challenging time. I say on these shows (maybe not often enough) that these shows are about as much for me as they are for you. It's been a way to connect to the outside world and create experiences where we can be together. That's always been very important to me.
Isolation and quarantine are not for the faint of heart. So as sterile as it is for me to focus on a green dot on my laptop while I squint from the lights and sing out to the hills - I do it because we need things in our lives that stir our souls and remind us of who we are. Music always does that for me.
Thank you for tuning into my signal and social experiment of these Facebook Livestream shows. Thank you for having me in your home. Keeping each other company and interacting in the comments and riffing on funny things. Those are the gems. Those are squares of patchwork on a long quilt and what we've done over time has built this beautiful mosaic reminding us with every corner and color that we are stitched together.
