Many of you who know my music would agree this is my most-recognized song. And I still love playing it.
I can’t remember if me wearing the baby blue shirt was designed or a happy accident. Seems to have matched the sky and building behind me very well. We first attempted to record this on the Pedestrian Bridge Downtown Nashville and too many people/too much wind/sound. So we found a quiet nook on the Greenway path in front of Titans Stadium. At the end you can hear the train coming in.
This has been the road ‘battle axe.’ It’s been with me a real long time and I play it most shows. An even-tempered love song with some nice lifts. Really fun to play, and still lets me sink in easy. I hope this adds some color to your palette, wherever this finds you.
