I’m coming back for two shows in May.

Friday, May 9th at Meadowlark in Lincoln 8pm. Last I played Meadowlark was a blurry, sunny memory of being tired on a 2006 tour. I am 99% sure I performed after late author and performer Andrea Gibson did a spoken word set. We didn’t get to chat, they were in and they were out. But they were brilliant. Their set was funny, urgent, and passionate. They apologized to the audience because they had a bit with adult content in it and there were a handful of small children milling about. We all had a good laugh. From my memory they performed 20-30 minutes from memory. No notes, no stopping. A genius with enormous heart.

Saturday, May 10 at Barley Street Tavern in Omaha at 9pm (w/John Larsen, Matt Cox, Brad Hoshaw, and Justin Lamoureux).
